Sacraments are living signs of God's work in and through us. There are 7 sacraments:
Baptism, Reconciliation (Confession), Eucharist (Communion), Confirmation, Matrimony, Holy Orders, Anointing of the Sick.
Three sacraments are required in order to be fully initiated in the Catholic Church:
Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation.
Most Catholics receive the sacraments of initiation in childhood. But many persons are baptized or fully initiated as adults; and, many Catholics who were baptized as infants do receive Eucharist and/or Confirmation as adults.
If you are inquiring about Catholicism, interested in becoming Catholic, or interested in receiving sacraments of initiation as an adult, we welcome you!
