Ushers serve as the first official person to "greet" parishioners and visitors gathering to celebrate Mass or any other respective church function. Ushers assist with seating people, providing for special needs people, taking up the collection and assisting with emergencies that may occur. Ushers also serve as the last person to bid farewell to the parishioners and visitors and hand out the weekly bulletin as they leave the church.
