This program is for children between the ages of 7 and 17 seeking Baptism in the Catholic Church or desiring to convert to Catholicism from another Christian faith.  Children who are in their 2nd year of sacrament preparation, but are in the 4th grade or older are also included in this program for their final year of preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist.

Requirements for those desiring Baptism: 
Children preparing for Baptism must attend all the scheduled classes as well as participate in the rites of Acceptance, Sending, Election, the Scrutinys, and all rehearsals.  Parents of these children are required to attend all parent education classes as well.

Requirements for those preparing for First Reconciliation & Eucharist:
Children in their second year of sacrament preparation must attend all scheduled classes, the Seasonal Family Liturgies, and the First Communion Retreat with their parents. Parents of children in this year of preparation for the sacraments are required to attend all six parent education classes.
